April is Child Abuse Prevention Month (CAPM) and to raise awareness for the programs and services available in the State of NJ, I created this Pass the Pinwheel campaign in collaboration with DCF staff, public, private and community partners. Pinwheels are used as symbols for children’s whimsy and the hope that prevention programs will provide support for families and create safe environments for children to live and grow in.
The video was posted on the Dept. of Children & Families social media accounts and shared widely across the state, raising awareness for the services and programs available to families in NJ.
