When EF-Education First decided to expand their campus in the North Point region of Cambridge, MA they discovered the area had a rich history dating back to the Revolutionary War. As a celebration of their new North American Headquarters, they commissioned the following documentary about the origins, forgotten value and eventual resurrection of the lost half mile.

The building sits on a stretch of land that was known as the Lost Half Mile - once an area booming with manufacturing, it slipped into disarray for decades before citizens and developers rediscovered the potential it had to become a vibrant commercial and residential area.
